Paediatric Service

We are proud to be able to offer a specialist paediatric physiotherapy service across the Yorkshire region. This service is run by our highly experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist Kay Ganguly and her dedicated team, who work solely in this specialist field, providing physiotherapy for babies, toddlers, children and young adults up to the age of 16 years old.

We are able to provide physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation for all manner of paediatric conditions and injuries at any one of our 4 clinics, or as a mobile service covering the following areas:

As we understand that physiotherapy for children needs to be both at a convenient time and location, we can provide this service within one of our clinics or as a mobile service from the child's home, or at their school, at times that suit both child and parents / carers.

Our paediatric case load includes not only self-referred clients and those referred by their G.Ps and Paediatric Consultants, but also children referred by Case Managers, Solicitors and Insurers. Detailed reports and written recommendations can be provided upon request or as part of the physiotherapy process.

Common paediatric conditions that we see include: Post-fracture, ligament and muscle sprains and strains, sports injuries, developmental problems and delay, floppy head, torticollis, balance and co-ordination difficulties, aching joints, 'clumsy child', cerebral palsy (including pre and post botox treatment), acquired neurological impairment, hereditary spastic paraplegia, complex needs and multiple injuries and postural / biomechanical problems.

We offer a free 15 minute telephone screening service should you wish to speak with our paediatric physiotherapist directly or if you are not sure if your child requires physiotherapy.
