Anthony Burns
Anthony graduated in 2007 from Manchester Metropolitan University with an First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy. He is currently employed as a Physiotherapist by Pinderfields General Hospital, and joined our team as a part-time member in October 2010.
In addition to his NHS responsibilities, Anthony is actively involved in teaching and training physiotherapy undergraduates. He is a fully qualified Football Association Coach, and obtained his UEFA C award in 2002. Postgraduate training has included various manual therapies and management of joint disorders.
Outside of work, Anthony enjoys cycling, swimming and attends the gym. Whilst at university, he completed the Manchester 100-mile cycle ride and the Salford triathlon. He also tells us that he is a bit of a keen guitarist, but we are not yet planning to include music therapy in our range of treatments, just in case…!
